Born in Pistoia, Italy, Jonathan Calugi is an illustrator who creates from his self-proclaimed chaotic workspace. His illustrations consist of clean lines and almost child-like doodles.
Rarely do we see colour with the exception Timbuctu. With his personal motto being, “enjoy and spread love,” it’s no surprise that his designs translate so well as kids wallpapers. They also work perfectly as colouring wallpaper. Drawing on the walls was never more appropriate than with Jonathan Calugi’s wallpaper designs. Hence, with this in mind, Calugi’s designs in removable wallpaper seem like the perfect marriage of art and consumer product. He brings out the child in all of us.
